The 365 Challenge UK is an exercise campaign created in 2016, to raise awareness of mental health disorders, including Post-Traumatic stress disorder through exercise and fun!
We are now adapting from an awareness campaign into a charity, The 365 Challenge UK, to further support anyone suffering from mental trauma.
Why is The 365 Challenge UK needed?
The Office of National Statistics (2019) states that nearly 800,000 people die due to suicide every year, which is one person every 40 seconds. For the first time since 2013, the number of people taking their own lives has increased by over 11% to 6,507 a year.
Unfortunately, while the NHS would be the first place people suffering from mental trauma should contact, the reality is the NHS is unable to offer the help and support needed in 2019.
What are we doing about it?
Our aim is to raise £1 million so that anyone who has been diagnosed as suffering from mental trauma can contact us and request immediate professional assistance.
No matter what age, gender, religion or financial status, if someone is mentally suffering we’ll do our very best to help them.
How can you help?
There are many ways you can get involved with The 365 Challenge UK.
You can take part in the 365 Challenge by completing 365 sessions of any form of exercise and posting a video/picture on social media using the hashtags #NOMOREPTSD #THE365CHALLENGE #EXERCISE #THE365CHALLENGEUK
Or you could come along to one of our fundraising events. Check out our events page or follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with what we’re doing!
You could also make a donation to our charity or purchase some of our fabulous clothing. Every penny will be used to help someone who is suffering inside their mind.
If you know of any companies or businesses that would like to sponsor The 365 Challenge UK, then please let us know!
